Inspired by a late-night segment, she co-founded Debtless to disrupt the predatory industry in order to give people an equitable chance at achieving financial freedom.

Louis is a voting rights attorney whose passion for equity extends well before his legal career. He co-founded Debtless to use the very tools used to oppress communities, in order to achieve financial freedom. Louis has worked with a variety of partisan and non partisan organization on areas of civil rights and voter protection

Corei is a community organizer who understands the importance of building networks dedicated to community care. At Debtless, she hopes to inspire collective action against predatory debt because, in the words of bell hooks, "One of the most vital ways we sustain ourselves is by building communities of resistance, places where we know we are not alone."

Fanny is a community activist and partner at her family business, Asian Market MHK, a local grocery store focused on providing a safe space for all to explore the world’s pantry. Fanny joined Debtless to help bring awareness to the resources and rights every person has and should have. Power to the people, always.
